  • Your life is to a large extent the sum of all your habits – good or bad.

  • You can take control of your life by changing your habits.

  • It's hard to shake off a habit since it takes an average of 66 days before a new habit takes root in our brain.

  • Habits never truly disappear.

5 Feel Good Habits - Start Today!

1. It is important to make small changes in our habits. This way, we can be more successful in achieving our goals. The key to this is self-urgency, which means that we have the motivation to do it now instead of waiting for a different time.

2. We should also celebrate all wins, which will make us feel better about ourselves and give us the motivation to continue on with our good behavior. Condition the mind, until it becomes muscle memory.

3.We should focus on the positive and not dwell on the negatives. Albert Einstein once said, “for every one negative action, you need 10 positives to counter-balance in life” Thinking negative only creates more negative.

4.We should cultivate emotional intelligence so that we can better understand what people are feeling and respond accordingly. Most importantly, we can begin to understand how we feel in the present moment and know how to react in a positive way.

5.Attach a “Why” or “Purpose” that outweighs self-procrastination. Self sabotaging or procrastination are signs of low emotional intelligence and awareness of yourself. Why is it that we get out of bed right away to get ready for work? Money… that's a pretty big “why” even though we might debate once a week whether to call in sick or contemplate getting out of bed.

Not only is exercise good for your body, it can also help improve memory, increase focus, and sharpen your mind.
