Change is Coming: Traveling Back on the Road in My RV with My Wife

A New Chapter on the Road

Change is an inevitable part of life, and for us, it signifies a return to the open road. My wife, Brenda and I are about to embark yet again on a new journey,This time heading north on the east coast traveling back in our RV. This change is both exciting and daunting, but it brings a sense of adventure and reinvention.

Traveling in our 30-foot Jayco Class C RV, we are ready to embrace the freedom and challenges that come with living on the road. After a period of staying put, the call of the open road is too strong to resist. This journey is not just about moving from one place to another; it’s about reconnecting with each other and rediscovering the beauty of life.

The Joys and Challenges of RV Living

Living in an RV offers a unique lifestyle that combines freedom, adventure, and simplicity. Every day brings a new view outside our window and a fresh set of experiences. We have the flexibility to explore different places, meet new people, and immerse ourselves in diverse cultures.

However, RV living also comes with its challenges. Space is limited, and we have to be mindful of our resources. There are days when things don’t go as planned, and we have to adapt quickly. Despite these challenges, the rewards far outweigh the inconveniences. The bond we strengthen, the memories we create, and the places we explore make every moment worthwhile.

Reconnecting with My Wife

This journey is also about reconnecting with my wife. The time on the road allows us to focus on our relationship, away from the distractions of everyday life. We have faced significant challenges together, including the emotional toll of a traumatic pregnancy experience. Now, as we travel together, we have the opportunity to heal, grow, and support each other in a meaningful way. Brenda will be going back to college!
