Most people think college is just about getting a diploma, landing a job, and making money. And sure, that’s part of it. But what most people don’t realize is that college reveals who you really are.

My Short Story:
How College Made Me Face Myself
When I first went to college, I thought it was all about getting good grades, following the system, and checking the boxes. But I quickly realized something: college doesn’t teach you HOW to learn—it just throws information at you and expects you to figure it out.
No one told me:
That my learning style was different from the person sitting next to me.
That my success depended on my ability to adapt, not memorize.
That the real challenge wasn’t the material—it was figuring out how to process and apply it.
For the first time, I had to train my own mind to learn in a way that worked for me. And once I figured that out, everything changed. Everything started to make sense, and everything started feeling like I was actually supposed to be here now.
That was another moment in my life that led me to founding Mogressive Coaching. Because I know that the traditional education system doesn’t teach you self-awareness. It doesn’t teach you how to discover your strengths, break past your limits, or truly understand yourself.
